Openarium Stand Out in the 2020 Dubai Expo with its Impressive Wooden Structures and Open Shutters

 

Lithuania Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

Lithuania is one of the most attractive pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020. This is a wooden building, it represents Lithuania as an open country for creativity, sustainability, community and innovation. They are calling out to the world that they are experts in lasercut technology. Lithuania has participated in all the expos that have taken place since independence from Russia in 1990. With a population of less than three million, Lithuania is astonishingly technologically advanced. They are also different in the construction of the pavilion. The two-storey wooden building is called the Openarium.

Inside of the pavilion greets visitors. The main exhibition is displayed in a colourful and spacious space. There is an amphitheatrical staircase in the middle of this space that not only connects the floors of the building, but is also a comfortable place to relax and delve deeper into the show. The second floor is designed as a separate multi-functional space for various events with access to the balcony and VIP guest rooms. The balcony is also a versatile event space and visible for both the visitors in the building and those who are nearby.

Lithuania pavilion interior design with its open spaces, large  windows and decorations symbolize and delicately reveals, country's independence history, struggle of the freedom and joy of liberation. The use of ambergris and its marketing potential has been maximised here. Different amber pieces are on display. Food making in various shapes through 3D painting techniques with food is also on display. Eventually visited all parts of the building and returned to the ground floor.


The terrace design and open shutters symbolizes Lithuanias accessibility and openness for innovations. This area covered by multicolored shadows and is cooled by an artificial fog system. The pavilion will houses a small restaurant serving Lithuanias dishes and drinks and 
a souvenir shops.

The Lithuania pavilion is situated in the sustainability district of Dubai Expo 2020. This pavilion showcase factual and visible materials about Lithuania's culture, innovation and identity.



The Lithuania pavilion is designed by Baukas. It is associated with sustainability, warmth, nature, and comfort,an important parts of Lithuania's identity.
