Israel Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

Israel Pavilion at the Dubai Expo is a large opened pavilion. This is the first time Israel has participated in a major fair in the Arab region. Israel is India's neighbour at the Expo. The pavilion with LED walls on both sides will give the impression of a stadium with seating. It shares the idea of ​​welcoming the future with an open mind. It is an invitation to see Israel as an open tent and to see everyone as one and to face the challenges of the world together.

There is a large illuminated sign 15 meter long and 5 meter high, that uses an aluminium frame with transparent front cover and LED lighting fixtures on the inside. The meaning of the sign with the words " Toward Tomorrow" written in intertwined Arabic and Hebrew letters. Israel pavilion design is inspired by the desert dunes in Israel and the UAE. It is completely open without doors, intended to show an open mind and allow even non visitors to see Israel pavilion. When people are queuing outside, you can see a message written on the wall of the pavilion, the message "Welcome to Palestine" in multiple languages greetings them as they enter the building.

The 1250 square meter Israel pavilion has two floors. The first is a waiting area, with an elevator to the second floor. The exterior of the building is designed with an art installation, including the figure of a women representing the Palestine spirit.
There are no statistics on the number of people who have visited the pavilion. Visitors first see a pre-recorded video that quizzes viewers about thier knowledge of Israel. Visitors walk through hallways that display picture of Palestine, enter a room where we can touch Salts from the Dead Sea. Walk to another room we can smell the scents of Palestine, and sit at a table that illustrates the traditional Palestine feast. Visitors can walk up and down. Tourist attractions in Israel can also be seen through virtual reality binoculars. It gives the impression of coming directly to Israel from Dubai. A hall is setup with 7 large LED  screens. On one side is a stage setup for DJ music.


Popular television presenter Lucy Ayoub welcomes the all visitors, tell them that her father is Arab and her Mother Jewish. She says she has struggled to find the right tone to indicate her complex identity. But urges the audience to "forget about the right tone" instead of "follow the beat." Towards a future based on values such as creativity, innovation, diversity and environmental responsibility. The pavilion will host economic events, conferences and business meetings, and dozens of business delegations from Israel and around the world are expected to visit.



The Israel pavilion theme is Connecting thoughts - Creating the future. 

Israel pavilion is located in the opportunity district of Dubai Expo 2020, and the pavilion was designed by AVS creations and Knafo klimore architects. A few closed rooms here  inside on the lower level in the main hall of the pavilion, Is a 360 degree immersive shows plays on a 250 square meter screen, presenting Israel landscape, culture, arts, technologies and expertise in innovation.

Explain the steps taken by Israel against hunger, exploitation of nature, and other sources of clean energy. There is also a brief journey through the country’s achievements in clean water protection, health and cyber security. State-of-the-art audio-visual technology has been used to the fullest. The call is to raise our voices together to face the problems of the world.  
Singing and clapping along with the stars on the big LED screen and the DJ star, the audience travels with extraordinary energy.
Even if you leave the pavilion, the music inside will be the same. Opportunity to learn about Israel's advances in water, agriculture, health, industry and science. 
Introduces technologies including drip irrigation to avoid wastage of water for agricultural purposes.
