Terra pavilion's solar energy projects and future promises

Terra pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

Terra is one of the main attraction of the Expo. Terra is a giant pavilion setup by the UAE with the message of sustainable development at the Dubai Expo. This pavilion, which means land, is generating water and energy on its own. The terra pavilion is filled with a bunch of energy trees like an umbrella spread out on top. Energy trees with a thousand photovoltaic panels, like a flower looking at the sun, generate the energy needed for the pavilion through solar energy

In addition to producing from the atmosphere, water is also reused here. That is why the pavilion has received the highest environmental certification as Lead. Modern technology has been used here to see the origins of the forest and to explore its diversity along the seas.

We know that you need a thousand liters of water to make a t-shirt. It is estimated that 10 lakh turtles die every day in the world from eating plastic. It is known that even elephants help in the reproduction and distribution of plants, but 100 elephants die every day

Another major attraction is the lotus called Equinox, designed by British sculptor Matt Collie Show. The giant lotus flower, featuring an orbit of insects, spinning on its vertical axis. It's Petals act as Shutters animating the insects within as they appear to fly, eat and pollinate in perfect harmony.

The architect of the Terra pavilion is UK based Grimshaw Architect. The Terra pavilion is located at the sustainability district in Expo 2020 Dubai.

The pavilion here confirms that everyone who visits must take a vow to keep the earth clean and safe. The biggest example of this is the pavilion director John Bull himself. He learned all this before the project started and became a vegetarian.

The pavilion is an excellent example of environmental energy conservation. The solar panels here look like umbrellas. The water required for the pavilion is also produced here.
